You will not be able to be on a Teams call and activate the Character Animator video and microphone at the same time.
For your 45 Second Introduction
Create a Background
Draw a digital background using Photoshop or Illustrator about you to be inserted behind your character in Adobe Character Animate. Make sure to use both shapes and drawing tools to illustrate your drawing.
Ideas:
Draw your house, bedroom, family, pets, favorite sports teams, music posters, items about your favorite hobby.
Required:
Make sure you have a window, door, or poster on your wall.
Make sure you have a desk, bookshelf, or table.
Create personal items to talk about, such as a computer, sports equipment, musical instruments or plant.
You must draw items out using shape tools and a paintbrush or drawing tool.
Insert a poster of your favorite band, artwork you made, sports team or celebrity.
Hint: The center of the picture is normally where you will put your character so leave space for yourself.
1920 x 1080 standard resolution is also know as (1080p) but you may want it larger in order to zoom out which using the zoom is a requirement!
Try doubling the size so it is, 2160 x 3840 pixels.
Save two files, your Photoshop program file (psd) and a jpeg. To create a jpeg - File - Export - Export As - choose Jpeg
Need Help drawing in Photoshop? The videos below are very detailed.
If you place your edited Character back into Character Animator and it is too big.
Transform - Scale and slide it to make is smaller.
Backgrounds can also be too big or too small and scaled up or down the same way.
30 Second Commercial
You will be making a 30 second commercial using your own character and your own background in Character Animator.
You will be drawing your own character's face and using pre-existing triggers and armatures to move your character's eyes, mouth, arms, legs, and make your character move and walk.
You will need to make your character walk!
You will need to create a background scene and create an item (insert jpeg picture) to sell a product.
No longer in my class and you have lost your UCS paid Adobe Account and want to use Character Animator? You can still use the free version "Starter Mode".
