'Sunset at Roosevelt Arch', Yellowstone - M. Palombo Summer Vacation, 2018
Philosophy
As an art teacher, I strive to provide a space where students can experiment with diverse media, techniques, and feel safe to express their own interests and ideas. I love to see students grow, question, and learn through the creative process of creating art. I know many of the creative, technical and social skills students learn in my classes, will transfer to various career paths. I hope students remember that art can be a fun, social, and a rewarding part of life.

In all of my art classes I teach about diverse cultures, infuse art history and teach about contemporary artist working today.
Art /Education / Travel
Growing up the son of a High School Art Teacher / Photographer I was exposed to art and design from an early age. Photographing weddings on the weekends through out High School and College became second nature to me. Because of my hard work, I earned a travel abroad scholarship in college and was able to study mosaics and fresco painting in Italy. This love for travel, exploring diverse cultures, and creating art has stayed with me through out my life. These experiences along with my desire to learn, have enriched my teaching and my life.
