Home Designs Photos Altered Photos
Home:
Create your personal artist statement for all of your web page or art works here on your "Home" page. Put your favorites artworks here to show them off first. Put them on your other pages too! You should create a secondary "about me" page under Home.
Designs:
Your "Designs" page is going to show off illustrations and graphic designs that you create. They may include your character drawings, poster designs, Vans Shoe Designs, Burton Snowboard Designs, wall paper designs, your company brand, Most of these projects will be from Adobe Illustrator. Separate the projects with a short description of your creations.
Photos:
This is your photo library you are creating. You can add new tabs for each photo assignment or create 4 or 5 main headings as I did below. You may add any of the best photos you personally took, including those from past years on your website.
I recommend using the following headings: Nature: Bug photos (macro), Nature Water Droplet photos (macro), Nature photos, Animal photos, Landscape photos Design Photos: Line Design photos, Texture photos, Reflection photos, Architecture photos Product Photos: Food photos, Small Product photos, Car photos, Clothes & Accessories photos Portraits: Expressive Portraits, Environmental Portraits, Non-Portrait Portraits, Double Exposure Portraits, Fashion Portraits, Portrait Lighting: Natural Lighting Portraits, Studio Lighting Portraits, Low Key Portraits, Rembrandt Lighting, High Key Portraits
Altered Photos:
This will be your Photoshop and Lightroom altered photos. These may include changing colors of objects, placing yourself in an altered location, teeth whitening photos, Warp Effect photos, Glitch Effect photos, Pencil Effect photos, Watercolor Effect photos, Charcoal Effect photos, Antiqued / Cyanotype photos, etc.
Create and maintain a web page of your artwork that shows off the digital skills you have learned. Promoting yourself, your artwork, your skills, and your own web page, is paramount in being a successfully artist in today's digital world.
