Create a drawn design for wallpaper or wrapping paper by using at least three of your own drawn images. You may, flip and resize one of the images to create an interesting sense of pattern, and save drawing time. You may use Photoshop or Illustrator or a combination of both. Hand in a total of five files. One Photoshop file (psd) or Illustrator file (ai) of your three drawings. Hand in four separate files of your colored designs as Jpegs and label them with your name and color theory: Black and White Monochromatic Color (one color used at least 3 times) Complementary Colors (opposite colors on the color wheel) Analogous Colors (colors next to each other on the color wheel)
Hints: Use Illustrator to draw smoother lines. Lighten the opacity of a photo and trace over it in Photoshop to draw more realistically. Cut out your three drawn images with the lasso tool to get close to the images. You can overlay drawn images and merge the layers before copying them. Cut and paste the entire row to create multiple rows that align. Use the color picker and the paint bucket to quickly color your four color theories.
