Create a project honoring Wildlife and the Endangered Species Act
An Endangered Animal and an Endangered Plant from similar habitat must be illustrated and a Word document created with the photos, proper names, links and required information.
Each student will hand in a photo of their artwork for credit. If done with a partner, you must hand in partners members names and what work each of you did and the required information in Word.
Required in Word
Plant and Animals Scientific Names. Location of where the plants and animals are found in the US or US territories. Insert Reference Photos for both the plants and animals. Copy and paste the exact web address (URL) for photos and information for both your plants and animals. Insert a photo of your completed artwork. If done with a partner list in % form what you did and what your partner did.
Word Document Required! List where your endangered animals live and travel. Do they live in the United States and fall under the ESA law? Do they fit the requirement of the project? If not, Start Over!
Use the list of animals provided! You and Your Partner Write your name and your partners names and list what each of you did. Scientific names Required and USA Location!
Write the exact Scientific names of your endangered Animals and Plants and where they live in the United States.
Insert Reference Photos Insert the reference photos you used to help you draw.
Plagiarism not Allowed Change your drawings so they do not look like the original the photo. No pencil or light-colored pencil they are too light to photograph and reproduce well.
No words on the front of the Artwork
We’re seeking creative works created by groups of two or more K-12 youth on the theme of celebrating the successes and value of the Endangered Species Act. Submitted artworks will become part of a virtual, multi media gallery launching on Endangered Species Day, May 19th as an integral component of Endangered Species Act.
